'Crazy Dreams' is my first solo album, released on Pharmacy Records in 2003. It was my early, beginning steps to create a solo musical world away from a band environment. These pieces are germinal works, the start of a process that has lead to where I am today as a composer and instrumentalist. 'Crazy Dreams' shows early versions of moods and atmospheres that I have kept returning to - a mysterious, other-wordly atmosphere ('Space', 'Darkness') and a kind of uplifting feeling ('Deep Blue', 'Things Will Never Be The Same Again').

We recorded 'Crazy Dreams' at home and at Richard's Pharmacy Studios on an eight track 1/2 inch Tascam tape machine. It has a great atmosphere and colour from using this machine, the album's creation was a totally analogue recording and mixing process. It also has the first recording of 'Lonely World', a piece that I have always loved and have recorded two more times since, the last time being for my album 'Strings Music' from 2023.
